When a woman shares her story of violence, she takes the first step to breaking the cycle of abuse.

It’s on all of us to give her the safe space she needs to speak up and be heard.

It's our collective responsibility to stop violence against women and girls in South Sudan.

As most schools across South Sudan opens next month, many girls will be forced to miss school while they are menstruating because they don't have access to sanitary products which means they will not fully participate in school, sports or social life. All these issues can lead to increased school absenteeism, and for some girls even dropping out altogether.
Foundation for Youth Empowerment (FOYE) has launched a campaign to make sanitary pads more widely available to keep girls in schools especially in rural schools in Yambio County of Western Equatoria State. We are targeting 500 school going girls with quality sanitary pads as the new school term begins.
Join FOYE’s mission to help keep girls in school donating to this campaign. Your donation could change the vicious cycle of too many girls dropping out of school and becoming young mothers.

Menstruation is considered a taboo topic in most cultures in South Sudan, which eventually causes embarrassment and exclusion from school, family life and social activities for girls when they are menstruating. As a result, girls often choose to stay at home when they have their periods This is where your donation will help to change this reality.
