This morning, Youth Friendly Group for Development visited Buluk Boys Primary School in Wau.
During the visit, we donated pens and notebooks to support the pupils in their learning journey. As well as red pens and chalk to support the teachers in their daily work.
It was a meaningful moment to interact with the students and encourage them to stay committed to their education.
We believe that even small support can make a big difference in a child's future.
YFGD remains committed to promoting education and empowering young people in our communities.

Youth Friendly Group for Development played a friendly match against Kosti Youth at Kosti Boys playground.
Final score: Kosti Youth-2 and YFGD-1
While the game ended 2-1, the objective went far beyond the scoreboard. The aim of this friendly match was to build networks, strengthen connections, and promote unity among young people through sports.
Football brought us together. It created space for friendship, collaboration, and mutual respect.
At YFGD, we believe engagement through sports is a powerful tool for Peacebuilding, teamwork and long-term partnerships.
We may lose a match, but we win relationships.

Today, 17/12/2025, Youth Friendly Group for Development (YFGD) visited the Hearing Impairment Association in Wau.
We shared small gifts as a gesture of love, inclusion, and solidarity ahead of the Christmas season. Though small, these gifts carry a big message: persons with disabilities matter and must never be left behind.
At YFGD, we believe true development is inclusive and compassionate.
Together, we continue building a community rooted in care, dignity, and humanity.
Giving with purpose. Serving with heart.
Mental Health Matters -A Positive Shift in Wau!
At Youth Friendly Group for Development (YFGD), we take a moment today to celebrate hope, progress, and the strength of our young people.
Over the past two months (October and November), we have observed a remarkable improvement in mental health among youth in Wau.
Su***de cases among young people have significantly reduced, and this is something worth acknowledging and celebrating. 💚
This positive change shows that:
More young people are opening up and seeking help
-Communities are becoming more supportive
-Awareness efforts are making an impact
-Youth are choosing life, hope, and resilience
But our work does not end here.
YFGD will continue to advocate, educate, and support young people to ensure mental wellness remains a priority in our communities.
Let us keep spreading love, awareness, and encouragement.
Every life matters. Every voice matters. Every young person matters.
Together, we build a healthier and more

We see so much to be done within our community, opportunities that can transform lives and create lasting change.
Yet, limited resources often stand as a challenge. But we believe that with unity, creativity, and determination, young people can still make a powerful impact.
Every small effort counts, and together, we can turn challenges into opportunities for growth and development.
