Dear beloved brethren in Christ,

We give glory, honor, and thanksgiving to Almighty God for His grace, strength, and comfort throughout this time of sorrow. It is with profound sadness, yet with Christian hope, that Rev. Dr. Simon Ngor Awejok, the Vice Moderator of Equatoria Presbytery, Presbyterian Church of South Sudan (PCoSS) departed this earthly life on Friday, 11th September 2026, and was laid to rest on Wednesday, 23rd September 2026.

Therefore, as we continue to remember and give thanks to God for his life, faith, ministry, and service to the Church of Jesus Christ, the final funeral prayers and memorial service will be held as follows:

📅 Date: Saturday, 3rd October 2026
📍 Venue: Medan Simba
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM sharp

Kindly, all clergies, elders, deacons, and deaconesses are requested to attend and, where applicable, come in their clerical or official church attire as a sign of honor and respect for our departed brother and servant of God.

We gather not only in grief, but also in Christian hope and thanksgiving, remembering Rev. Dr. Simon Ngor Awejok for his faithfulness, commitment, dedication, and devoted service to his calling and to the work of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he has departed from this earthly life, his testimony of faith and service remains an enduring legacy among us.

God's word gives strength and courage to the contrite heart, “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.”
— Psalm 116:15 (KJV)
