The fact is Kiirdit's regime is on the verge of collapse. Looking at the situation now, it's worse. He still has hope that the Dinka still stands with him. He's lost.

Now, the Dinka of Aweil have withdrawn from the government and joined Malong Awan and Dau Aturjong because of the series of humiliations and disappointments that have been done to them by the president himself, his wife, and their daughter. Aweilians have joined the movement against Kiirdit's regime.

Those Jieng who still think that IO is an issue now are lost. They're not informed. They should be awakened and see what's going on. The entire Jieng is against Kiirdit's regime now. Kiir, with his relatives and family, thinks that those who are still working with him like his regime. They don't like him and his regime. They're only working for money.

The Jieng Tonjdit are no longer standing with his regime because of the humiliation of their son Akol Koor; and also, the recent withdrawal of Nhial Deng Nhial from the government has also led them to leave the government and join the movement. As of now, no sons are in the government. The only few individuals who were loyalists to the government were also accused and targeted for supporting Akol Koor and Nhial. They left, too. Some of the Tonjists who were in the national security left it and joined other movements. Some left it for their homes and don't even want to come back to the government.

Aramweerans will also ask Kiir if he bothers or attempts to remove the able governor Rin Tueny from his governorship. These were most likely people to turn against because of their long-time intercommunal conflicts. But since they were rescued by Rin Tueny, they now stand with Kiirdit because of their governor.

Jieng Jonglei has withdrawn from the government and joined the IO silently.

Now, the CDF soldiers have refused to fight the rebels, saying that they're just dying for no reason. They're not paid. They're outnumbered by the rebels. Armed militias kill them; cattle raiders kill them ,oo. Therefore, rumours are on the ground that Kiir is planning to remove Nang Majok and appoint Santino Deng Wol or Jok Riak Majok.

If he does that, that will be his end.

I've finally gotten this book. It's a book that I've been looking for. The first time I tried to download it as a pdf was last year, and by then, I couldn't download it because it asked me for a Mastercard account, and I did not have it. However, one of my friends who knows how much I need this book ran to town to buy it for me. Thank her!

Forgive Them & Forget Them

They don’t hold your destiny. Life is too short to be bitter. Forgiveness does not make you weak, it sets you free. Revenge is an instinct of the weak. Bitterness consumes you, not them.

If you’re unable to love, you harbor bitterness. Love and hate can’t live in the same heart. Each day, you choose which one gets to stay. Forgiveness evicts bitterness from the home in your heart.

Bitterness is empowering someone to control your life. Bitterness imprisons you. Love sets you free. Invest your energy in love. A grateful heart is better than a bitter soul. Choose to be better, not bitter.

Every weight you carry is a choice. You don’t carry any weight accidentally. That’s why the Bible tells you to lay aside the weight that slows you down. And not to allow any bitter root to grow (Heb 12:1,15).

It doesn’t matter how much weight you carry if you’re going nowhere. But if you’re going to get off the ground and fly, then how much weight you carry matters. Anger is too heavy – let it go.
