Women Ascend International is a grassroots non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering women and girls in South Sudan and the rest of the world through education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Our programs, initiatives, and collaborations leverage mentor, empower, and equip women and girls with the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to excel and catalyze change in their communities, creating a more just and equitable world.
Founded in 2020, Women Ascend International emerged from a collective vision to uplift women and girls in South Sudan and globally. Our organization was born in response to the urgent need for comprehensive efforts to promote gender equality, inclusivity, women's rights, and empowerment opportunities.
