A fire has destroyed the offices of the Minister and Undersecretary at the Ministry of Roads and Bridges in Juba this morning.

According to the Director of Administration and Finance, Yien Bol Mayuak, the blaze is believed to have started after an electrical fault involving an air-conditioning unit in the Minister’s office.

Yien says the fire gutted the two offices and destroyed office equipment and documents.

No casualties have been reported.

The fire was contained before it could spread to other offices within the ministry.

Astronomical Explanation of the Phenomenon:

1. The Bright Object Next to the Moon: The object that appears as a "very bright star" near the moon is not a star, but rather the planet Venus, the brightest object in the sky after the sun and the moon.

2. The Moon's Shape: The moon appears as a thin crescent (the crescent at the beginning of the lunar month).

3. The Cause of the Conjunction: The conjunction occurs when the moon and Venus pass close to each other in the same line of sight from Earth's surface during their orbits, making them appear very close together in the sky.

This phenomenon is a safe, natural astronomical event and is considered one of the most beautiful sights that can be seen with the naked eye in the sky at sunset or early evening

The situation in is very , and Jong-lei State will likely face a in the next to months⁉️
