Today marks exactly two years since a group of friends came together with one simple idea to give back to the community and support young people across South Sudan.

Despite the financial challenges, we are proud of every step weโ€™ve taken and every impact weโ€™ve made along the way. As we celebrate our 2nd anniversary, our wish remains strong: to one day reach all corners of South Sudan and spread positivity, unity, and hope not just here at home, but across the world.

Happy 2nd Anniversary to We Are Friends Association.
Hereโ€™s to growth, bigger dreams, and a brighter future.

On 17th February 2026, We Are Friends Association (WAFA) carried out a one-day cleaning campaign at Juba Military Hospital. This initiative aims to promote cleanliness in public spaces and protect our environment.

The campaign marks the beginning of a month-long effort dedicated to community engagement and environmental responsibility. WAFA therefore calls upon the general public to keep this spirit alive by actively participating in maintaining a clean and healthy environment wherever we live.

Together, let us make cleanliness a culture and a shared responsibility.

On March 8th, WAFA had the honor of visiting Al-Sabah Childrenโ€™s Hospital, where our team actively participated in a clean-up initiative of the hospital's grounds. This event not only emphasized our commitment to fostering a healthy environment for the children receiving care but also allowed us to extend our compassion to the newest members of the society. In addition to our cleaning efforts, we proudly contributed charitable donations to support the well-being of newborns at the hospital. Our visit was a meaningful opportunity to give back and make a positive impact on the lives of communities around us.
