AFSN Girls Rise Scholarship – Applications Now Open!
Application Period: 18th February – 18th March 2026
The AFSN Girls Rise Scholarship is an initiative of the African Foundation Scholars Network (AFSN), supported by the Mark Family in Europe. It aims to empower girls from financially challenged backgrounds in Bor Town, South Sudan, helping them complete their final year of secondary school and achieve their academic potential.
🎓 Scholarship Benefits
Selected students will receive:
✅ Full coverage of third-term tuition fees
✅ Academic support and mentorship through AFSN
✅ Guidance during the final stage of secondary education
✅ Follow-up support from AFSN and partner institutions
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
1-Be a female student (girl)
2-Be in Senior Four
3-Be currently studying in Bor Town, South Sudan
4-Come from a financially disadvantaged background
5-Show academic commitment and potential
6-Be willing to participate in AFSN mentorship activities
Special consideration:
1-Girls with disabilities
2-Students facing severe financial hardship
The scholarship is open to all Senior Four girls in Bor Town, regardless of their school.

Parents, guardians, and community members are encouraged to help eligible girls prepare their documents and submit their applications between 18th February and 18th March 2026.

A global fellowship that equips innovators aged 16 to 28 with the training, expert support and resources to bring their planet-positive ideas to life.
