HIGHLIGHTS
* Extensive flooding, high levels of food insecurity, violence and disease outbreak continued to impact people across the country in September.
* Findings from rapid needs assessments indicate that over 616,000 people were affected by floods and torrential rains in 22 counties and Abyei area as of 30 September.
* Renewed fighting between conflicting communities in Twic County, Warrap and Anet in Abyei area displaced some 3,500 people in Twic County. Some 3,500 people were displaced to Canal/Pigi County due to fighting between armed factions in Atar and Diel in Fangak County, Jonglei State.
* Food prices increased by 32 per cent, compared to the previous month. Increasing malnutrition cases were reported in Canal/Pigi and Old Fangak counties in Jonglei, due to the impacts of conflict and floods on food sources.

Pandemic, Recession: The Global Economy in Crisis
Image COVID-19 has triggered the deepest global recession in decades. While the ultimate outcome is still uncertain, the pandemic will result in contractions across the vast majority of emerging market and developing economies.
It will also do lasting damage to labor productivity and potential output. The immediate policy priorities are to alleviate the human costs and atenuate the near-term economic losses. Once the crisis abates, it will be necessary to reaffirm credible commitment to sustainable policies and undertake the necessary reforms to buttress long-term prospects. Global coordination and cooperation will be critical. ~ World Bank.

Updates on COVID-19
South Sudan has confirmed her third case today.
Another confirmed case in South Sudan, woman identified as UN staff is tested positive for COVID-19. We have 2 confirmed cases in the country, the lady who is alleged to be 53 year old is believed to have entered 🇸🇸 South Sudan via 🇰🇪 Kenya earlier in the month of March.

South Sudan confirmed her first COVID-19 case today, a lady working as UNMISS staff has been tested positive after staying in the country for 35 days.
We urge everyone to strictly follow the preventive measures guidelines.
• Wash your hands with soaps every now and then.
• Keep social distancing by staying at home.

General information
South Sudan is a country with over 10 million inhabitants within this population 80 percent are least educated or never went to school before, besides civil war which contributed in social disintegration. Many children are left with no one take good care of them or parents and women left with no hope because they might have lost their love ones in one way or another. These groups need our immediate intervention by helping them through civil education and capacity building.
MISSION
To promote human empowerment through job worthy and preparedness across different level, we noticed most of communal disputes stem from lack of youth an employment at the grassroots level. AGE’s intervention will be through job creation to keep them focused on developmental issues then deviate from promoting senseless communal disputes in South Sudan at large.
OBJECTIVE
We will ensure the selfless service is delivered to our immediate beneficiaries without promoting parochial interest to favour some individual in one way or another. Notwithstanding promotion of Human Rights and executing humanitarian duties to expected standard in conjunction with South Sudan constitution.
