The Smart Dog
A lost dog wanders into the heart of the jungle. From a distance, a lion spots him and narrows his eyes. "Hmm... never seen his kind before. He looks... edible," the lion growls, creeping closer with deadly intent.
The dog, sensing danger, starts to tremble. But just as he's about to bolt, he spots a pile of bones nearby. A daring idea sparks. He turns his back to the approaching lion, grabs a bone, and says loudly, "Ahh... that was some delicious lion meat. I wonder if there's another one around here?"
The lion freezes mid-step, eyes wide. "Wait... this guy eats lions? I’m outta here!" And with a flick of his tail, he bolts back into the trees.
Up above, a monkey who had been watching everything smirks. He knows an opportunity when he sees one. Swinging down, he catches up to the lion and spills the truth. "That dog was bluffing! Those bones weren’t yours!"
The lion roars in fury. "Hop on my back. Let’s teach that mutt a lesson!" Together, they charge back toward the dog.
The dog sees them coming—twice as angry, twice as fast—and his heart nearly stops. But then, another idea hits. He turns his back to them and shouts, "Where’s that damn monkey?! I sent him to bring me another lion an hour ago!"
The lion screeches to a halt. The monkey? He’s already gone.
Moral of the story:
It’s not the size of the dog in the fight—it’s the size of the hustle in the dog.
When life corners you, think fast, act smart, and always keep your wits sharper than your fears.
Are you ready to outsmart your challenges?

Will African Leaders Ever Let Go of Power?
Another chapter has just been added to Africa’s long-running tale of political dynasties.
Faure Gnassingbé, President of Togo, has been sworn in as "President of the Council of Ministers"—a newly created role that now stands as the highest executive office in the land, *with no term limits attached.*
This move comes after constitutional reforms eliminated direct presidential elections, replacing them with a parliamentary system. Many see this as a calculated strategy to keep Faure in power indefinitely.
His family has ruled Togo for 58 years. He took over in 2005 after the death of his father, Gnassingbé Eyadéma, who reigned for nearly 40 years.
As history seems to repeat itself, the question grows louder:
Will Africa’s long-serving leaders ever relinquish power? Or are we witnessing the rise of modern monarchies in democratic disguise?
Old is gold. Nigeria over the years has consistently produced the best movies in Africa.

Remember the Nigerian female senator who accused the senate president of victimising her for refusing to date him? She got suspended from the senate but not given up just yet.
What do you think about the situation?
