Provide Veterinary Care. Ensure that animals are not put at risk and that the interests of the public are protected. Communicate with each other to ensure the health and welfare of the animal or group of animals and the public. Maintain and develop the knowledge and skills relevant to the professional practice and competence. Promoting and advertising veterinary products and services. SSVMA structure composed of 3 levels of management:
Board of Directors:-
BoD for SSVMA organization is the highest level of the management. They are responsible for:
Recruit, select, hire, and manage the Executive Direct set the mission and vision for the organization. Determine SSVMA strategic direction and focus, and how it fits into the "bigger picture" or performance. Provide regular performance direction and feedback. Ensure there is a clear, accountable performance management structure for the organization. Establish proactive policies to guide executive decision making and organizational programs and operations, define board and management roles. Review and approve key intermediate-term organizational goals (1-3 years). The Executive Directors(ED):-
Is referred to as Juba Coordinating Group (JCG), which is the policy making body of the organization. The JCG is supported by secretariat team of five full time employed staff that manage programs and the activities of the organization, including coordination with states office .These secretariat include: Executive Director, Secretary General, Programs Coordinator, Gender office, and Director of cultural and information. Their responsibilities include:
Accountable to the Board of Directors. The ED is responsible for supervision, implementation of the strategy of the organization. The ED is responsible for recruitment, management, supervision, and revocation of SSVMA staff. Financially, the ED oversees sound financial management system, and should supervise the process of production of all financial reports, and further develops annual budget plans, which must be submitted to, reviewed, and approved by the Board of Trust. Externally, the ED officially represents SSVMA stances to national authorities, media inquiries, international organizations, as well as the beneficiaries of SSVMA projects. Field offices:-
The field offices is SSVMA states offices who is responsible for the day to day management of SSVMA affairs in the state , compose of three program officers; state director program, state coordinator program and financial officer. SSVMA ACTIVITIES:
