Manga is part of Unity state Bentiu, Nyakenya Johnanes Keah Minister of information in Unity State’s response to the Ministry of information of Ruweng Administrative area after being asked today in a conference held in Juba to clarify why H: E Taban Deng G*i is carrying out farming in Manga which the minister of information in Ruweng claimed the land belongs to them, and why Unity state youth are killing people and raiding cattle on a daily basis.

Hon. Nyakenya assured the minister of information in Ruweng that the borders of the Ruweng Administrative area and those of Unity state are clear, and that Manga is the home of H.E. Taban, and he has the right to visit his family in Manga and to carry out farming there as well.

In a separate response, the minister Hon. Nyakenya told the minister of information in Ruweng that peace has returned to Unity state and its neighbors since the Governor of Unity State Dr. Joseph Nguen Manytuil Wicjang is carrying out a peace tour in Mayom county and the few elements raiding cattle now are from both Ruweng and Unity State which shouldn’t be blamed on one government but the responsibility of both governments
