The training for Life in Lulu, peace building and sexual reproductive health by BBC Media Action to 11 National Organizations in which COPAD was representing Western Equatoria came to an end in Juba.

BBC Media Action kicks off a two days financial management training in Juba, the training is focusing on finance accountability and timely reporting system.

Community Organization for Progress and Democracy (COPAD) is a nonprofit and non-Governmental Organization, founded in 2014 by a group of indigenous community Youth who felt the need to mobilize the communities to engage in Food Security and Sustainable Livelihood Program, Water Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH, Humanitarian Response, Education Development Program and Peace Building initiatives. The organization is fully registered with RRC at registration number 3574 and with South Sudan Ngo Forum at Reg. No. NNGO2021021.
COPAD operate under five core Thematic Areas with the mandate to Improve on Protection through Peace Building, Protection against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Sexual Gender Based violence (SGBV), Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, Early Girl Child Marriages, food security and sustainable Livelihood programs as well as Basic Health, Water Hygiene and Sanitation Program. To achieve the above COPAD aims at engaging the target groups in meetings, training workshops, community Dialogues, Awareness raising, Public Lectures, Radio talk shows seminars to mention but to achieve her goal of peaceful co-existence among the people of South Sudan
