It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved colleague, & our carpenter [Henry Natana]
when our firm had a vacancy for a senior carpenter specializing in construction. We could not find any more suitable candidate than Carpenter 𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐲 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐚. A quiet, reserved, and knowledgeable soul with vast experience and skills in construction. A person our engineers consult in any complex design and he always manages to deconstruct complex form to simple and implementable approaches and executed with excellency only a skillful technician of his caliber can do.
Unfortunately, we lost 𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐲 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐚 to a sudden illness, Allah rest his gentle soul in peace.
We did not just lose a technician we lost a school with vast knowledge and skills, nevertheless, we are grateful to have him with us and learn as much as we could from him as he learned from our team as well.
As an engineer, I believe our existence in this world is immortal by the work we do for our society. Our body can decompose, but our soul remains in the works, and remarkable structures we build and leave behind.
We will always remember 3amo 𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐲 (as we loved to call him), the structure below has been one of his few works that we were able to capture, and his legacy will remain part of 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐨 past, present and future.

Lilico Engineering|Juba, South Sudan is pleased to announce the partnership with Dove Equipment and Machinery Co. Ltd|Bangok, Thailand; as Distributor Agent for Dove Mining Equipment in South Sudan and East Africa Region.

South Sudan is rich in mineral resources with over 20 different types of minerals with gold being the most important. The Ministry of Mining roughly estimated a quarter of a ton (±250 Kg) of gold is produced from artisanal mining activities in the country (British Geological Survey-World Mineral Production 2013-2017). Gold has been reported at various areas in the Equatorial region, such as, Kapoeta district, Luri districts, Lobonok district, South of Yei district, and the Aswa-Nimule shear zone near Kinyeti (Mineral Services-Newsletter n05, 2011). The informal activity employs more than 60,000 people and indirectly benefits half a million of the population (Cord-aid Mining in South Sudan Report-Jan, 2016).
