Hundreds of supporters of the South Africa's controversial opposition firebrand Julius Malema have gathered in the streets of eastern KuGompo City to await his sentencing on gun charges. The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader could face up to 15 years in prison following his conviction for violating gun laws. The case relates to the use of a firearm at a rally in 2018. US President Donald Trump has called for the jailing of Malema who won a court battle years ago for singing “Kill the Boer,” an Apartheid-era chant about white Afrikaners who were then associated with Black oppression.

Be careful of people who perform kindness in public but practice cruelty in private... The ones who smile for strangers, speak softly in crowds, and wear generosity like a badge… yet leave wounds in the very spaces they call home.
That’s not kindness. That’s performance... Real character is not revealed in how you treat people who can applaud you, it’s revealed in how you treat the people who live with you, who see you without the filters, without the audience.... Because charity doesn’t start on the streets. It starts at home!
And when someone is consistently harsh, dismissive, or unkind behind closed doors but polished and “good” outside, it’s not a contradiction, it’s a pattern... A pattern rooted in ego, control, and often, narcissism.
Pay attention to how people treat those closest to them. That truth is louder than any public display of kindness. Not everything that looks good is good!!!
