Concerns have emerged among artists from the eastern counties of Western Equatoria State over what they describe as unequal representation and limited access to services provided by the Western Equatoria State Artist Union.

Speaking on behalf of artists from the eastern part of the state, Emmanuel Adeboya-Ezu questioned whether the union is truly serving all artists across Western Equatoria or operating in a way that excludes some regions.

According to Adeboya, the union has issued membership identification cards to artists in some western counties but has allegedly failed to extend the same services to artists in eastern counties, including Maridi, Mvolo, Mundri West, and Mundri East.

He argued that the lack of coordination offices in the eastern counties and in Juba has made it difficult for many artists and musicians to register and obtain official identification cards.

"How can a union request artists to register while there are no coordination offices in Juba and the eastern counties?" Adeboya asked, expressing frustration over what he described as a lack of support for artists outside the areas where the union is actively operating.

The concerns highlight growing calls for the Western Equatoria State Artist Union to expand its outreach and ensure equal access to registration, representation, and support services for artists across all counties of the state.

Artists from the affected counties are urging union leaders to establish coordination structures in underserved areas and address challenges facing musicians and creative professionals.

On behalf of Eastern counties Artists Since inception , the Artist union of Western Equatoria state issued ID cards to Western Counties while they have forgotten that Eastern counties are important too, the likes of Maridi, Mvolo, Mundri west and mundri East... How can A UNION lack a coordination office to issues ID cards in Eastern counties and Juba?

HOW CAN WESTERN EQUATORIA ARTIST UNION REQUEST ARTIST FOR REGISTRATION WHILE THEY DON'T HAVE COORDINATION OFFICE IN JUBA AND EASTERN COUNTRIES?

In Mvolo, Maridi , Mundri West and Mundri East Artists and Musicians are facing issues concerned ID card while they don't support from the State Union.
