VOLUNTEERS Needed!!

CPMC is looking for a team of volunteers that shall help the organization in conducting Baseline Survey to establish the Health Situation of Nakitun Village, Rajab Payam. This exercise is intended to measure the impact of the Mobile Medical Unit in the area.

This exercise shall take effect from Tuesday 28th April, 2026 to Thursday, 7th May, 2026.

🔥THE 7TH MEDICAL OUTREACH… AND THE IMPACT IS REAL! 🔥

Today in Nakitun Village, Tokeman West Boma (Rajab Payam)… something powerful happened again.

No big hospital.
No fancy equipment.
Just a small, committed team… and a BIG HEART ❤️

We showed up for our 7th Mobile Medical Outreach — and the community showed up too.

👩‍👧‍👦 Over 50 patients treated
👶 Mostly women and children
💊 All services 100% FREE
🙏 But first… we prayed.

Because for us, this is not just medicine —
God is at the center of our mission.

🦟 What did we see today?
The reality of village life:
Malaria
Red eyes (Viral Conjunctivitis)
Flu & cough (URTI)
Diarrhea (Acute Gastroenteritis)
Stomach ulcers (PUD)
Syphilis
UTI

These are not just diseases…
They are daily struggles for families with limited access to care.

📚 So we didn’t just treat — we taught.
We held a health talk on:
✔️ Conjunctivitis prevention
✔️ Personal hygiene
Because knowledge saves lives.

💬 One thing that stood out today…

A mother holding her child said:
"If you didn’t come, we would just stay and suffer."

That’s why we go.
That’s why we will KEEP going.

CPMC and its partners are entering week 4 of manifesting the Love of Christ through a mobile Medical Outreach to Nakitun Community in Tokeman West Boma of Rajab Payam.

In Yesterday's outreach, 47 Patients were attended and 10 children Vaccinated.

Thanks to our MMU Team, Samaritan Purse and Juba County Health Department for the support.

REACHING THE UNREACHABLE: Week 3 of CPMC Mobile Medical Outreach in Nakitun

Under the shade of trees and in the heart of the community, Community Prevent Medical Care (CPMC) continues to bring essential health services closer to the people of Nakitun village.

Now in Week 3 of our every Thursday Mobile Medical Clinic, implemented in partnership with Samaritan’s Purse and supported by the Juba County Health Department, our dedicated team of volunteers remains committed to serving humanity—ensuring that no one is left behind due to distance or lack of access.

📍 This week’s key activities included:

1. General medical consultations for common illnesses affecting children, women, and the elderly.
2. Maternal and Child Health (MCH) services, supporting mothers and improving child wellbeing.
3. Routine immunization services, protecting children against preventable diseases
4. Health education sessions, empowering the community with knowledge on hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.

Despite the absence of a permanent health facility in Nakitun, the turnout continues to grow each week—a clear indication of the urgent need for accessible primary healthcare services.

Our team of health workers and volunteers, driven not by salaries but by compassion and purpose, continues to deliver lifesaving care with dignity and respect.

Healthcare is not a privilege—it is a right. And through this outreach, we are restoring that right to the people of Nakitun.

As we move forward, we remain grateful to our partners and the local community for their trust and collaboration.

Today at 9:30am, CPMC in partnership with Samaritan Purse will be Laumching a Mobile Medical Unit in Nakitun Village in Tokeman West Boma, Rajab Payam. The MMU is compost of :
1. General consultation (GP and clinical Officer).
2. Mobile Lab
3. Pharmacy.
4. Maternal and child Health Care (ANC and Vaccination)
5. Community Health Education (CHE).

All are offfered Free.

CPMC Concludes Two-Day Orientation Workshop for Mobile Medical Unit Team in Partnership with Samaritan’s Purse

Juba, South Sudan – Yesterday, Community Preventive Medical Care (CPMC), in partnership with Samaritan’s Purse, successfully concluded a two-day Orientation Workshop for the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Team that will serve the vulnerable community of Nakitun.

The orientation workshop was designed to equip the MMU team with the necessary clinical, operational, and ethical competencies required to deliver quality, safe, and compassionate healthcare services in hard-to-reach areas. The training covered clinical standards of practice, safeguarding and protection principles, teamwork and leadership, medical documentation, infection prevention and control, pharmaceutical management, and community engagement strategies.

Speaking at the closing session, the Executive Director of CPMC emphasized that the Mobile Medical Unit represents a critical intervention aimed at improving access to essential health services for underserved populations. Nakitun community, which has limited access to functional health facilities, stands to benefit greatly from regular outreach services including general outpatient care, maternal and child health services, basic laboratory diagnostics, health education, and referral linkages.

The partnership between CPMC and Samaritan’s Purse reflects a shared commitment to strengthening community-based healthcare delivery and promoting dignity, accountability, and excellence in humanitarian service. Both organizations reaffirmed their dedication to ensuring that the Mobile Medical Unit operates in accordance with national health guidelines and international best practices.

The Mobile Medical Unit is expected to commence regular outreach services in Nakitun immediately following the official launch on the 4th March, 2026.

CPMC Launches Orientation Workshop for Mobile Medical Unit in Partnership with Samaritan’s Purse

Community Preventive Medical Care (CPMC), in partnership with Samaritan’s Purse, has commenced a two-day orientation workshop for its Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) team. The team comprises a General Practitioner, Clinical Officer, Laboratory Technician, Midwife, and Dispenser.

The Mobile Medical Unit is scheduled for official launch on 4 March 2026 in Nakitum, a remote community with no existing health facility. This initiative is part of CPMC’s commitment to improving access to essential healthcare services for underserved and hard-to-reach populations.

The orientation workshop is designed to equip the MMU team with the technical, ethical, and operational competencies required to deliver high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services. Through this initiative, CPMC and Samaritan’s Purse aim to strengthen community health outcomes and ensure reliable, lifesaving medical care for the residents of Nakitum.
