Bul Community leaders had significant reconciliation today, primarily stemming from political and military disputes within South Sudan's Unity State, particularly Mayom County.

Efforts to address their issues which was initiated by Lt. Gen. Bapiny Manytuil Wijang, who, as Chairman and Commander-in-Chief of the South Sudan Liberation Movement/Army (SSLM/A) and head of military and security coordination for the South Sudan Opposition Alliance (SSOA), has actively mediated reconciliation among Bul politicians.

The initiatives, supported by Hon. Tut Gatluak Manime, the former presidential Advisor for National Security Affairs, Dr. Joseph Nguen Manytuil Wejang, the former Governor of Unity State, Maj. General John Maluk Matai Koryom, the former Security Advisor of Unity State, Maj. General John Bol Mayak, former Commissioners and the Deputy Director of National traffic police, Lt. General Thayip Gatluak Taitai former head of ground forces in SSPDF, elder Maj. General Tungwar Gatluak and Kuichang Kuol Gaw Diet the former Unity State Coordinator, aimed to foster peaceful coexistence and resolve long-standing disputes,

“Unity and Development towards Peaceful Coexistence and Reconciliation," indicating a community-wide commitment to resolving internal conflicts and promoting unity”.
