Islamic Relief Organization in South Sudan is one of the fastest growing indigenous faith- based humanitarian, relief and development non - governmental organization in south Sudan. The organization is registered by the south Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation commission as a national non- governmental organization under chapter 3, section 10 of the NGO Act 2016 on the 13 January 2021 under registration number 1972.

IROSS responds to emerging issues during both emergency and development situations in south Sudanese communities.

Our activities are geared towards reducing the suffering of most vulnerable groups through implementing programs and projects that help the affected communities to recover.
We collaborate with several partners including donor organizations and other well -wishers to design and implement development programs and deliver essential social services to people in need .

Our core programs include but not limited to:
(1) protection
(2 food security and livelihoods ( FSL)
(3) peace building and conflict mitigation
(4) Ramadhan Response
(5) wash
(6) Education
(7) Health
