February 2026 is packed with unforgettable sky moments! 🌌
From glowing moonlight to a historic journey back toward the Moon, this month offers something special for every sky lover.

February opens with the Snow Moon Glow (Feb 1), lighting up winter nights with a bright, commanding full Moon. A week later, patient stargazers can catch the Centaurid Shooting Stars (Feb 8), where quick meteors flash across darker skies.
Mid-month brings a rare daytime spectacle — the Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse (Feb 17) — as the Moon slips in front of the Sun, leaving a glowing ring visible in parts of the world and partial views elsewhere.

Humanity also takes a major step forward with the Return to the Moon (Early–Mid Feb), as NASA’s Artemis II mission sends astronauts on a historic lunar flyby — the first time humans travel that far from Earth in over 50 years.
