Mayiandit Community Honors Governor Manytuil for Peace Mission.
Community members in Mayiandit County are presenting gifts to the Governor of Unity State, H.E. Dr. Joseph Manytuil Wejang, in appreciation of his peace mission to the county.
The gesture reflects the community's gratitude for his efforts in promoting peace, unity, and stability in the area.

Mayendit County Women group and youth turn out for the receptions of Unity State Governor Joseph Nguen.
The 7 Group Women's Association is actively engaged in clearing and preparing gardens during the rainy season to promote food production and self-reliance. Members of the association are moving from house to house, supporting one another to ensure the timely completion of gardens that have already been cultivated.
The association is also appealing to humanitarian and development organizations to distribute seeds early so that women can begin planting without delay. According to the group, timely access to seeds will help maximize agricultural production, strengthen household food security, and improve the livelihoods of women and their families.
The Airport Road is currently under construction and is nearing completion, with plans for it to be handed over to the relevant authorities soon. Community members have expressed their appreciation for the quality of work being carried out by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Residents say the improved road will enhance transportation, ease movement, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the area. The project reflects IOM's commitment to supporting infrastructure development and improving the lives of local communities.

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has successfully completed the full renovation of Pilieny Primary School in Leer County, Unity State. The renovation project has transformed the school environment, providing improved learning facilities for pupils and creating a more conducive educational atmosphere.
The rehabilitation of the school demonstrates NRC's commitment to supporting education and enhancing access to quality learning opportunities for children in the community.
