In Suriname, there’s a synagogue and a mosque standing side by side. 🕍 🕌

The Neveh Shalom Synagogue was built around 1718, and the current Ahmadiyya Anjuman Isha’at Islam Mosque was constructed in 1984, replacing the original mosque from 1929.

Both landmarks are located in Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname. 🇸🇷

NASA Astronauts Nick Hague, Suni Williams, Butch Wilmore, and cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov splashed down off the coast of Florida at 5:57 p.m. EDT (2127 UTC) on March 18, concluding their scientific mission to the International Space Station.
