We recently had the privilege of screening The film New Boats also known as (New Boat Fishery) a powerful investigative documentary by the brilliant Sierra Leonean filmmaker Lansana Mansaray (aka Barmmy Boy). This film takes us deep into the heart of Tombo’s fishing community, revealing how illegal and industrial trawling is reshaping lives, traditions, and the coastal ecosystem.
