I am so overwhelmed, as It has been such an honor to be a part of this wonderful transformation in our society to stand tall for the truth and reality that will guide our beloved nation for the next five (5) years in its capacity for development.

On behalf of the Konos, I would like to extend my heartfelt and profound gratitude to us all for recognizing the right part towards our Blessed Democracy. In this regard, I may wish to inform all political parties that WE, as Konos, do "MATTER." Only fools can be blind to this reality: since the 1967 General Elections, KONO and its People have been proven beyond every reasonable doubt that we're the deciding factor towards a NEW government in Sierra Leone. We can't brag about it, but the electoral pools always defined it for us all as a nation to see. I wish to extend my sincere gratitude to our Newly President Elect Dr. Julius Maada Winni Bio for his outstanding respect for us as Konos and ensuring that "YES" we do matter. Mr. President, just in case you happen to see this piece from your humble servant Tamba Kamineh Songu Mbriwa (CEO Justee), a Grandson of one of Konos hero the late
TS Mbriwa, please be informed that the Kono people wish to access few developments from your Administration.

Whereas:

1. Kono - Fangamandu Guinea Border Roads will be of significant concern to help boost not only Kono but Sierra Leone's economy as well. We can easily be bordered by five (5) commercial countries, respectively.

2. The Bikongor Water Fall in Sewafe Village, Nimiyama Chiefdom, Kono is also a significant source of high-voltage power supply if Developed which may serve most of the South-East, and part of the North accordingly.

3. The completion of Kono's College of Science and Technology will significantly help our youths gain easy access to Education rather than travelling miles away from their families to achieve such a goal. We know Education is a MUST in your Noble manifesto, so we have no doubt we will achieve the college completion soon.

4. As a Miner, Gemmologist, and International Business Analyst, I may wish to draw your Honourable attention to the mining sector for Sierra Leone to obtain its own government mines. If Sierra Leone can obtain a government mine in Gold, I bet you sir, our country's Economy will be solely determined by us based on our Gold reserve in our own Central Bank, and I guarantee you Kono alone can provide that.

5. The government of Sierra Leone had tried so hard to ensure that all major cities around Sierra Leone had their own Shopping mall under the past government and your government. In regards, we're pleading to you for a shift attention in the private business sector because, if given the opportunity, the private sector can do more to sustain our country's economy and developments. Therefore Kono needs a Shopping Mall or Centre.

6. I'm sure you're 100% aware of Kono’s major mining company (Octea/Koidu Limited). Based on the depth of their Kimberly mining operations, Koidu City is presently facing a massive shortage of pure drinking water for its People. We are pleading with you sir, to consider us for pimp-burn water facilities to ensure the safety of our people.

There are more needs for Kono, but if the six (6) key points listed above are addressed within the next five years, Kono will be forever grateful, as you've done extremely well in your first term of office.

Kono Do MATTERS and we're ready to embrace Developments come Rain or Shine in our District.
