GFuture EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN CROATIA📢✔️
The workshop training in Croatia was organised on 20 April 2026 and involved 32 participants.
The workshop targeted teachers, youth workers, volunteers, PE teachers and coaches and focused on strengthening their knowledge, skills and practical understanding of the project methodology and planned local implementation.
During the workshop, participants were introduced to the project content, key messages and practical tools. The activity also supported the preparation of future sport-based activities with children in primary education.

The online training in Croatia for GFuture project was organised on 21 March 2026 and gathered 30 participants. The activity targeted teachers, youth workers, volunteers and coaches, with a particular focus on participants from rural areas in the partner country.
The training provided participants with an introduction to the project objectives, the planned local activities and the broader educational and sport-based approach promoted through the GFuture project. It also served as a capacity-building activity for professionals and volunteers working with children and young people.

We are excited to present the GFuture project through a dynamic sports event in Slovenia! In collaboration with Taekwondo Klub TKD – AHAC, we organized a fun and interactive day where children had the opportunity to experience the GFuture guide in action.

Through a variety of sports activities and methodologies, participants explored new ways of learning, moving, and developing skills all while having a great time!🌱🇸🇮 🇪🇺⚽🏀🤸‍♀️⛹️

We hope all the events that have already taken place up until now have been successful, and wish everyone with upcoming events all the best!

So far, we have 3.553 events that have been registered (1.611 of which have come through the ESDW platform. The remaining events are from our partners in Germany, Finland, Ireland, Belgium, and the Czech Republic).

The ESDW2025 runs all the way up until 08 October. You can still register your events until this date through this event registration form: https://www.esdn.eu/esdw/event-registration. Even if you event has already taken place, we encourage you to still register it.

Only 1 week to go until the European Week of Sport 2025! 🎉

For 10 years, has shown that sport is for everyone: whether it’s football with friends, yoga in the park, a family walk, or a mountain hike.

This September, communities across Europe are celebrating with thousands of local events:
👉 In Tallinn, a community night run will light up the streets.
👉 In Sofia, parks will turn into open-air yoga studios.
👉 In the Austrian Alps, hikers will discover breathtaking trails together.

On 23 September, we kick things off with a special 10th anniversary celebration in Copenhagen, but the real movement happens everywhere, in every community. 🌍
