✨ The Fair Play – Safe Life tournament was officially launched at Um Sungor Camp, with great attendance and enthusiasm from the participating teams.

⚽ In the opening match, Um Sungor host community played against Um Sungor refugee camp team. The match ended with victory for the Um Sungor host community team.

🎨 Alongside the event, a mural artwork was created to raise awareness about gender-based violence, carrying strong messages of prevention and social cohesion.

🌍 The project aims to promote the values of fair play, strengthen cooperation between refugees and host communities, and use both sports and art as tools for communication and positive change.

Within the framework of the Fair Play, Safe Life project, Sun Rise Development & Humantarian Assistance Organization held a coordination meeting with the participation of team representatives, a representative from COR, a representative from the Camps Police, and a representative from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

📌 During the meeting:

Team uniforms were handed over to all participating teams.

Football equipment was distributed to ensure readiness.

The official tournament launch date was set for July 7, 2026.

🎯 The project aims to promote the values of fair play, spread a culture of safe living, and strengthen cooperation between sports, and community institutions.

Sun Rise Development & Humantarian Assistance joined the celebration at the Al-jamih Camp in collaboration with ADRA and the UNHCR under the slogan: " Everyone Is Safe" 🌍💙

📸 The day was filled with cultural and awareness activities highlighting the importance of solidarity with refugees and supporting their right to live in safety and dignity.
🤝 We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this day, and we reaffirm our commitment to continue working together for a better future for all.

في إطار جهود منظمة صن رايز للتنمية والمساعدات الإنسانية وبالتعاون مع المبادرة الشبابية (معا نستطيع) ، تم تنفيذ نشاط إنساني بمعسكر قوز السلام للنازحين، وذلك على النحو التالي:

- رسائل توعية: تم تقديم مجموعة من رسائل التوعية حول الاستغلال الجنسي في القطاع الإنساني، بهدف رفع الوعي وحماية النازحين وضمان بيئة آمنة خلال تلقي المساعدات.
- توزيع الملابس: تم توزيع أطقم متنوعة (للنساء، الرجال، الفتيات، والأطفال) لصالح 200 أسرة نازحة داخل المعسكر.
- توزيع مستلزمات صحية نسائية: تم توزيع 120 وحدة للنساء النازحات، وذلك بدعم من وحدة مكافحة العنف ضد المرأة والطفل – ولاية النيل الأبيض، تعزيزًا للصحة والكرامة.

يأتي هذا النشاط ضمن جهود المنظمة والمبادرة لدعم الأسر النازحة وتخفيف معاناتها، مع التركيز على تعزيز الوعي بحقوق الإنسان وحماية الفئات الأكثر هشاشة.

As part of the efforts of Sun Rise Organization for Development and Humanitarian Assistance, in collaboration with the Youth Initiative, a humanitarian activity was carried out at Goz Al-Salam camp for displaced persons, as follows:

- Awareness Messages: A set of awareness messages on sexual exploitation in the humanitarian sector were delivered, aiming to raise awareness, protect displaced persons, and ensure a safe environment during the distribution of aid.
- Clothing Distribution: Various clothing sets (for women, men, girls, and children) were distributed to 200 displaced families inside the camp.
- Distribution of Women’s Health Supplies: A total of 120 units were distributed to displaced women, with support from the Unit for Combating Violence Against Women and Children – White Nile State, to promote health and dignity.

This activity is part of the ongoing efforts of the organization and the initiative to support displaced families, alleviate their suffering, and emphasize the importance of raising awareness on human rights and protecting the most vulnerable groups.
