Bigups to JOEBOY, ROKKA & the PullUp Boys.

After all the trolling and criticism from their last performance, they came back and redeemed themselves in a big way. People mocked them online, doubted them, and questioned whether they belonged on that stage… but lastnight they answered with action, energy, and real improvement.

Only their second show together, yet the growth was obvious. Bigger confidence, better performance, stronger stage presence. Respect to them for taking the criticism, working on themselves, and proving the haters wrong.🙇🏽

Taking my time to address this clip of the boys performing at Madaka Night that everyone’s been making fun of.

First off, not everyone gets the opportunity to perform live on stage. Messing up on stage is part of every artist’s journey, that’s how we grow, learn, and improve.

There’s a big difference between being a recording artist and being a performing artist. At some point in our journey, we all have to make that shift from recording songs in the studio to performing them live in front of people. That transition isn’t easy.

Live performances come with a lot of things you can only learn through experience, listening to stage monitors, mic control, breath control, crowd interaction, and managing your vocals under pressure. These are skills that only improve when you consistently get on stage and do it.

It also takes real courage to step up and perform your own music, especially when you’re still new, upcoming, and building your fanbase.

So kudos to these boys for getting up there and putting on a show. It’s a good start. Practice hard, keep doing your music, learn from this experience, and continue improving. Use this as motivation to come back even stronger for the next gigs. Every great performer started somewhere.
