PRINT "September 1, 2022. Exactly 30 years have passed since I officially sat down at the piano with teacher and fell into the world of music. At a very young age of 3, the question "who will you be when you grow up?" and my answer was "musician", more often than a pilot or a cosmonaut. It was a personal choice without a choice, because I was always shown the very "musician's way" - rehearsals of my parents together, separately, restaurants, stages, philharmonic halls... By the way, more about the stages.
I got my first 1000 people at the age of 4, performing "White Cap, striped collar" song with the piano comp by Gennady Lazarevich Tsypin (I still remember yesterday). At the age of 6, the first home piano academic concert for relatives and friends. My teacher took on the role of compère, the lights were turned off and candles were lit straight on the piano. My debut was announced, and here I am, in a white shirt, greetings to the audience. "Qualitatively" and thoughtfully sitting down on a chair, getting ready, breathing, relaxing and stay focused. The title were claimed, the playing, the applause, the next piece... Finally, 2 years of home studying with a high level professional. Piano, music theory, solfeggio, dictation and ear training of all kinds. Then another 6 years of classical music school, where were all that choir, comping and ensemble playing (example: Sviridov's "Snowstorm" waltz on xylophone). Then +4 years of music college with boring classical harmony, pedagogy, methodology of teaching practice and more other stuff. Totally, 12 years of hard classical music training. Every single day. Sometimes 6 hours of piano practice per day.
Yes, yes, I am official piano teacher for kids. There's no jazz allowed there.
After graduating from my Kostanay alma mater, I did not touch piano for 6 years. I didn't have any reasons and possibilities to do that. Where's your piano, pianist? I changed it to a mouse and keyboard. To a black metal on a friend's guitar!
