We would like to thank the Axpo Energy team for their warm welcome to their headquarters in Cluj-Napoca!

During the visit, we presented our solar vehicle, Hyperion Origin, highlighting its latest upgrades and our beautiful new livery inspired by traditional Romanian culture. Visits like this strengthen our partnership, offering an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and allowing our students to interact directly with the industry.

In Romania, Axpo Energy plays a key role in electricity and natural gas supply. They are actively developing major projects, including electric energy storage with a total capacity of 300 MW and two wind farms in Dobrogea with a combined capacity of 250 MW, expected to generate 750 GWh annually.

Our partnership with Axpo Energy began two years ago and has grown beautifully since. We are incredibly proud to have them by our side!

An important step in our preparation for IESC 2026. ☀️🏎️

On Wednesday, June 10, we had the opportunity to test our solar vehicle on the T**i Aur circuit, one of the most well-known driving test and training centers in Romania. Thank you T**i Aur Academy for the opportunity and support!

Each test session is an opportunity to learn, validate the team’s work, and identify new directions for development. This time, we focused on verifying recently implemented software and electrical systems, as well as evaluating the vehicle’s dynamic behavior under real-world driving conditions.

Throughout the day, the team’s experienced drivers covered numerous kilometers of test driving, achieving encouraging results and providing valuable feedback for future developments. Their conclusions confirmed the progress we’ve made and the technical direction we’re taking.

Every day of testing brings us closer to our goal of having a high-performance, reliable solar vehicle ready to represent Romania at the ILumen European Solar Challenge 2026.
