This was from a time when I had already switched from drawing traditionally to digital, firstly on my Wacom tablet, then onto a Samsung one in Autodesk Sketchbook and lastly in Procreate on an Ipad. I still love drawing, whether it's on paper or on a tablet, even though it's been harder and harder to focus on anything personal. Still grateful for remaining creative and I hope I'll get my balance back. Until then, enjoy some work I did for various projects.

While we're on the topic of Character Design projects, I thought I'd go through my old sketches to find out where it all began. These might not be my first attempts at character development, but they are definitely from a time I used to draw everything on paper first.

Except the first piece... That's just there to get your attention... And for the aesthetics.

Had a blast working with this character (and the brewery) again. Can't believe we went from drawing these labels on paper in watercolour, to this. Grateful for all the years of trust and experience we gained.

Guess who messed up the video settings when she drew this and didn't realise it until after the project was done and now has no time-lapse?

Cazinoul Militar (The Military Casino), illustration made for the project, Baroque edition.

It only took about 40 hours to finish this piece, but the level of details surpassed even my expectations(of myself). So glad to have been a part of this project once again.
