The neighbors' magnolia across the street is about to bloom. It probably just needs two or three more days of sun and that's it.
I'm leaving here for the fans of this fabulous tree the three illustrations of magnolias that I've painted in recent years.

Hot Lagoon Fair 🤍

My first appearance in an exhibition in my hometown, Constanta, just happened 🤍
Firstly, although I live in Bucharest, I would say that a part of me is still in this seaside place - as you can deduce from my many, many sea themed paintings - a very old city, quite a shabby city with lovely architecture and Roman ruins, a cosmopolitan city with decrepit monument buildings and luxury cars parked on many corners. Another city of contrasts as we like to describe this very Romanian situation. I was really pleased when the famous Cazino was restored and opened its doors again to the public - it gave me hope that more will follow in this lovely place. So, you can imagine my enthusiasm when I was invited to take part in the Sea Sisters exhibition by and Art Safari in the newly reopened art galleries. The exhibition shows artists from Constanta and neighbour areas and for me it's a first for which I am very grateful.

The exhibition can be visited from Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00-18:00 in Stefan cel Mare 15 street, Constanta and you'll find me under the name Ana TN Bănică
