🚘 In the 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦, the focus was on “Technology and Safety for the Era of Automated Vehicles”, a key topic that brought together researchers, engineers, and industry leaders to explore the critical intersection of innovation and responsibility in intelligent transportation.

The first day of the IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium 2025 in Cluj-Napoca opened with momentum and vision, bringing together researchers, engineers, and innovators from around the world.

🎙The day commenced with a keynote and an oral session, offering in-depth perspectives on the challenges and opportunities associated with autonomous mobility, intelligent infrastructure, and AI powered driving — effectively setting the stage for the discussions and developments to follow.

🖼 Throughout the day, two engaging poster sessions created space for hands-on discussions and idea sharing around perception systems, safety, connectivity, and real-world deployment challenges. The exchange of ideas was as lively as it was insightful.

💬 Two oral sessions were held, with the second featuring deep technical dives into topics such as planning and control, HMI, V2X communications, and cooperative driving — showcasing the latest breakthroughs from both academia and industry.

🏎 The day ended on a high note with the much-anticipated Roboracer event, where autonomous racecars took to the track in a thrilling display of speed, precision, and machine intelligence — a clear crowd favorite.
