Multicultural teams are no longer an exception in Romania — they are becoming the future of work here.
The arrival of colleagues from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and other countries doesn’t just diversify org charts. It brings different rhythms, different collaboration practices, different ways of understanding authority, conflict, and community. And all of this gently pushes us to rethink how we work together.
These shifts are not just organizational. They are social shifts, because what happens inside companies inevitably spills over into communities, neighborhoods, and the ways we relate to “others” and to diversity.
Romania is experiencing a rare moment: a chance to learn how to become a more open and adaptable society throughworkplace reality.
That’s why, at Antropika Studio, we launched a questionnaire - followed by interviews - dedicated to companies working with immigrant employees. We want to understand the real experiences of managers, team members, and leaders who are already navigating this transition.
It’s a first step — but an important one — in understanding what works, what doesn’t, and how we can build healthy cultural practices in teams.

We truly believe that the way we integrate new colleagues will shape not only company culture and performance, but also the Romania we are becoming.

Do you work in a company with non-EU employees? Let’s talk about the day-to-day reality of these teams.
Romania is gradually becoming a multicultural labor market. More and more companies in retail, HoReCa, cleaning, or logistics employ colleagues from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, or other non-UE countries.
❗But integrating them into local teams comes with many challenges: cultural differences, difficult communication, subtle tensions, and confusion.
To better understand these experiences, at Antropika Studio we launched a questionnaire dedicated to companies working with immigrant employees. We explore:
🔸What the real difficulties are in multicultural teams
🔸What works (or doesn’t) in integrating these colleagues
🔸How leaders and local employees can be supported in this process
You can access the questionnaire here: https://forms.gle/Hh6xbpdT5c4nGRF39
👉 Who should definitely fill it out:
👤 HR specialists
🧑💼 Team managers
🏢 Entrepreneurs
🧰 Anyone with direct experience working with foreign employees
⏱️ It takes only 6–8 minutes and is completely anonymous.
📥 Those who wish can also receive the final results with personalized recommendations.
