Fior art studio
Romanian handmade ceramic studio
Bucharest based artist Loredana Munteanu
Sometimes, the process begins outside the studio—in the mountains—collecting natural materials and found objects. I can’t wait to be back in the mountains this summer. 🌱

My practice explores the tension between fragility and endurance, rupture and repair, how matter breaks, remembers, and continues to hold
The straw sutures reference my grandfather, for whom mending was less an act of restoration than of holding together what could never fully return to its original state.

Two bespoke vessels for to complement the space through texture, form, and materiality—bringing warmth, balance, and a handcrafted presence to the contemporary interior.
I work exclusively by hand, building organic vessels; inspired by Romanian mountains, memory and material experimentation.
My process is both intentional and intuitive and I approach essence through tension, rupture, and material exposure.
