Există o linie subțire între mândrie și demnitate si de aceea majoritatea dintre noi tindem să le confundăm.
Prima se manifestă atunci când simțim nevoia să ne demonstrăm valoare altora, pentru a doua nu simțim o nevoie, este pur și simplu o certitudine a valorii noastre față de noi înșine.
Mândria este un produs al egoului și contrar unor credințe nu trebuie să îl distrugem, el trebuie educat și atunci produsul este demnitatea în schimb.
Educația egoului începe cu ținerea promisiunilor față de noi, doar așa putem avea încredere în aceea parte din noi care ne dezamăgea înainte.
O plimbare zilnică este o promisiune cu care putem începe ușor.



There is a fine line between pride and dignity and that’s why most of us tend to confuse them.
First one comes from the need to prove ourselves to others, for the second there is no need, is just a certainty of our own worth.
Pride is a product of ego but contrary to some beliefs we don’t have to kill the ego, we just have to educate it and when that happens it produces dignity instead.
The education of ego starts with keeping the promises that we make to ourselves, that’s how we know we can trust the part of us that wasn’t reliable before.
A daily walk is a good promise to start with.

Nepoțica mea în vârstă de 6 ani îmi zicea ca ea știe tot în lumea asta și eu nu am crezut-o.
A insistat și mi-a zis ca știe chiar și ce culoare au ochii lui Dumnezeu, așa ca am întrebat-o, ce culoare au? Și ea mi-a răspuns : toate culorile!
Are dreptate, ea chiar știe tot ce e nevoie de știu.



My 6 years old niece once told me she knows everything and I didn’t believe her.
She insisted on telling me she even knows what color of eyes God has, so I asked her what is it then? and she answered: all the colors!
She was right, she really knows everything there is to know.
