Another fabulous meal in Bucharest . Most probably my best meal this year so far, definitely worth a Michelin star. Menu with a story, gastronomic metaphors, Romanian inspired. Ode to the little Paris, how Bucharest was known in the past. Fantastic treat! ❤️

Ever since I wrote the article about premium Romanian wine in need of a godmother, I wanted to eat . This was a superb meal, Romanian cuisine reinvented. Amazing potato salad reinvented, beef ribs melting in your mouth with pickled zucchini and a baked potato skin foam (yumm, guilty pleasure), cod, basil pana cotta and so much more! Definitely deserves a Michelin star! ❤️

And together with the trout extravaganza from accompanied by an excellent wine flight of Spoke New Zealand wine from and fascinating talks from Liam Steevenson MW himself. The Sauvignon Blanc was a standout - less ‘electric’ and more rounded than a typical NZ example.
