This is my first commission work for a pet portrait at Fantasy Basel. I completed it on site at the fair. I was really nervous to paint in front of others, but it was so rewarding to show the process and it led to many other commissions.
I love this pose and how the cat is looking at the viewer from the chair.
The medium is soft pastels on A4-paper.

I am very excited to announce my upcoming participation as an artist in Fantasy Basel, the Swiss Comic Con.

In creating this piece, I channeled the transformative power of renewal and hope. A phoenix, vivid and fiery, rises against the tranquil backdrop of a moonlit sky, symbolizing the endless possibilities of rebirth. The contrast between the vibrant, erupting colors and the calming blues and greens speaks to the balance between change and continuity.
