Urbacon Saudi and Al Bawani Co. Ltd (JV) announce the commencement of construction works to build the new entertainment destination in Yanbu, which was awarded by Saudi Entertainment Ventures, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund with an estimated investment value of SAR 1.1 billion.

Urbacon Saudi and Al Bawani Co. Ltd (JV) will provide the necessary expertise and capabilities to ensure the implementation of this entertainment destination with highest international standards. The new entertainment destination will be built on a land area of more than 36,000 square meters and a construction area of more than 62,000 square meters.

Power International Holding has been awarded with the Largest HXM Transformation Conglomerates and Innovation Award at Expo 2020 Dubai, recognising PIH’s contributions to digital transformation in the HR domain to its work with SAP SuccessFactors, PIH continuously fosters an environment of creativity and sustainable economic growth for Qatar.

Today, The Group Warehouse Management received certificates for their efforts and achievements in 2021.
 
Among the achievements recognised were promoting sustainability across all PIH business units with the “Think Green, Live Green” campaign and subsequent beach clean-up event, metal recycling and SAP implementation. In 2021, The Warehouse Department also increased efficiencies in warehouse management, set up a training center and collectively completed 531 hours of training. 
 
Certificates were presented by UCC Group CEO, Mhd Sabri in the presence of PIH Group Warehouse Director, Rawad Swid and UCC Human Resources Director, Mohammad Obeidat.

Power International Holding (PIH) signed an agreement with Leena AI, the global employee experience platform, to transform its employee experience using the Artificial Intelligence technology.
Phase 1 of the implementation has resulted into creating a friendly AI personal assistant in the form of Daizy available 24/7 to all employees on all internal communication platforms including their mobile phones and able to instantly answer and resolve most of their queries. While in phase 2 the technology will have additional capabilities to include a larger scale of integration and automation of HR processes and workflows.
The agreement was signed by Murad Sahawneh, Group Chief Human Resources Officer of PIH, and Ajay Pathak, Regional Sales Director of Leena AI.

Following the successful 7 Habits of Highly Effective People workshop, Power International Holding hosted a CEO Workshop on Sustainable Development and the UN 2030 Agenda on Saturday March 12, 2022. The purpose of the workshop was to bring together the companies’ CEOs to help understand the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. The Group is looking to effectively incorporate the SDGs in their operations and activities.
