احتفاءً باليوم العالمي للغة الإشارة، شارك مركز مدى بفعالية منظمة من قبل الأكاديمية الرياضية والتعليمية للصم في مدينة الثقافة بتونس من خلال تقديم محاضرة بعنوان: "التكنولوجيا الحديئة للصم: الحلول والتحديات"، حيث تحدثت المحاضرة عن أهم الحلول التكنولوجية الحديثة الموجهة للصم والتحديات التي تواجه الباحثين في المجال.

Celebrating the world sign language day, Mada center participated in an event organized by the “sport and education academy for deaf” that took place in the city of culture of Tunis through giving a session entitled “new technologies for deaf: solutions and challenges” which discussed the newest technology solutions for the deaf and the challenges faced by researchers in the field.

As a celebration of the start of the new academic year, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Mada Center delivered gifts to students with disabilities.

سعداء جدا بإستضافة ندوة “مناقشة النتائج الأولية لبحث دعم الدمج الرقمي لكبار السن و مقدمي الرعاية في الأسر القطرية والعربية"، وهو بحث مشترك بين جامعة حمد بن خليفة ومركز إحسان ومركز مدى والشبكة الكندية للتكنولوجيا للمتقدمين في السن وبتمويل من الصندوق القطري لرعاية البحث العلمي ومعهد الدوحة الدولي للأسرة ،حيث ترأست الدكتورة دينا آل ثاني- الأستاذ المساعد في كلية العلوم و الهندسة و مدير برامج الدراسات العليا متعددة التخصصات في جامعة حمد بن خليفة الندوة ومناقشة التوصيات مع مجموعة من الخبراء و الأخصائيين.

We are glad to host the seminar " Discussion of Primary Results to Discuss Supporting Digital Integration of Elderly People and Caregivers for Qatari and Arab Families ", additionally, it’s a joint research by HBKU, Ihsan, Mada Centre and the Canadian Network of Technology for Elderly People, funded by Qatar National Research Fund and Doha International Family Institute, as Dr. Dina Al-Thani, Assistant Professor and The Director of Interdisciplinary Programs at the College of Science and Engineering at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, chaired the seminar and discussed the recommendations with a group of experts and specialists.

Mada Center held its second inclusive virtual session entitled: "Connecting innovations to persons with disabilities in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals: an overview of the innovation ecosystem from Mada", within the virtual sessions of the WSIS 2022 Forum, which presented by Mada experts in the field of digital accessibility. The session included sign language interpretation and English simultaneous interpretation.
