📍 X28 Exhibition Wrap-Up | Waldorf Astoria West Bay, Doha
What a day!
The X28 Exhibition was a complete success — an elegant, high-energy event with crowds flowing through from start to finish, and women leaving with arms full of beautiful finds. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the level of talent and creativity from participating brands was exceptional.
I had the honor of being the face of Calypso for this edition — congratulations to the inspiring duo behind the brand, Natasha and Monisha, for once again curating a standout collection. Their booth was filled with excitement from the very first hour, with many items selling out quickly!
A heartfelt thank you to Sana Jassim and her entire X28 team for orchestrating such a well-executed event and for bringing together so many incredible women-led businesses under one roof.

This summer, standing in front of it again reminded me of that special day — and of everything we’ve built since.
A silver anniversary is not just about years; it’s about the love, resilience, and memories that turn time into a beautiful journey. 🤍

✨ An Italian journey in Doha ✨
I had the pleasure of discovering the new menu at Cucina by Chef Claudio Trovato 🇮🇹 — a true celebration of Italy, from Nord to Centro to Sud. Each dish was authentic, beautifully crafted, and simply superb.
It was extra special to share this evening with my family, and to meet Chef Claudio himself, whose vision has turned Cucina into a culinary journey through Italy.
The Marriott Marquis Doha continues to surprise me with its fantastic dining experiences, and Cucina is truly a gem among them. A heartfelt thank you also to Jomalyn, who made our evening so warm and professional.

Looking back at this past year, I see challenges that made me stronger, lessons that shaped me, and countless beautiful memories I’ll treasure forever. Each birthday reminds me how far I’ve come — and how much more there is to embrace with confidence and gratitude.

🇨🇦 From Montreal’s vibrant streets to the capital’s timeless charm — Ottawa welcomed us with history, beauty, and countless memories.
We wandered through Parliament Hill, where Canadian politics has been shaped for over 150 years, strolled along the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage site that turns into the world’s largest skating rink in winter, and explored neighborhoods full of character… and still made time for gelato in Little Italy 🍦❤️.
Canada, you’ve truly stolen my heart — and I can’t wait to come back to discover more of your beauty.

Hello there,
Elisabete here.
For those who don’t know me I am Portuguese, married and a mother of 3.
I left Portugal in 1995 to move to Macau - China where I worked as a flight attendant. Absolutely loved the experience of living abroad in a culture completely different from mine. Macau was the beginning of a wake up call at all levels. There I found love, Miguel my husband and a Portuguese as well, moved to Macau when he was only 9 years old. He was “kinda of Chinese” as I used to say, he could master the art of the chopsticks something that took me a long time to get used too. Our 2 sons were born in Macau and for 11 years Macau was my Home.
