Prepping for the best day has been instilled in me since I was a really young girl. We lived so far away from school, work, friends and amenities, making travel time a bug chunk of our day, so in order to save every second and maximize on time....we had to lay out our school clothes the night before, lunches were prepped so that they were just packed the next day.
In mu adult years, nothings really changed. I prep the night before.
- Select what I'll wear the next day
- Put out my supplements or things thing I knew I would use the next morning
This made my life easier to not have to think about what to wear, what my routine would be. I took the thought out of it by doing it the night before.
I do the same with my certain breakfasts. While I cook, I make my overnight Oats.
It really maximizes time, free-ing u up to do more things u perhaps wouldn't usually do if u spent the time picking which jeans to wear.
It's just one less thing to worry about when you plan.

I was checking out the new supermarket that opened within walking distance from my apartment. The original plan was just to check it out and order in for dinner but the produce was amazing and it inspired me to want to grab a few 5hinga off the shelves and go cook up a storm at home.
My home is an extension of my energy. Love, balance, tranquil and cooking in it is bliss.
This was by far one off the cuff, made with love and so quick to put together.

So recently I've actively pursued releasing my hips. Traumas and emotions get stuck there. (WTF right?) The sauce was made of Olive oil, spices, pepperdew sauce, yoghurt and tender love and care. I put it on right after the rice.
Together they cooked for 10 min
The shrimp was seasoned and popped in an air fryer for 10 min
My prep was 5
Filming it and plating was 5 😉🤪🤣
So 30 minutes total for what tasted glorious, warm and fuzzy

I am a Mat Pilates Instructor and love incorporating Reformer Pilates into my practice.
Over the years, it's been the one practice (pilates) that's brought me back from injury, made me stronger mentally and, helped me focus on the inner workings of my body and never failed in the "love for a workout" department.
Today - I was blessed to be guided by one of my closest friends. Many people know us to be besties here in Doha & always see us together. We float around the world. (Her more than me) but we are forever tuning into each other's lives and staying connected - she is one of my greatest teachers. Thank u for an amazing class .niestoj.pilates.nomad

Since my focus has been on balancing my hormones and learning a lot about what my body responds to and what it doesn't....I've had to learn to find other ways of satisfying my sweet tooth. Merely due to dairy, refined sugar and gluten being contributors to my inflammation and such.
I discovered vegan chocolate (in a very small and expensive part of the grocery store)
I am constantly looking for gluten, refined sugar and dairy free food & snack options. Let me tell you...it ain't easy.
I got tired of not finding any snacks in the stores that could cater to my needs...so....experimentation (as I do) was in full swing. What fun it was, especially because it came out sooooo good.
The rice krispie bar was a childhood favourite of not only mine but I'm sure many. Sometimes it had goey marshmallows, but the chocolate one....well...that was just to die for.
Now admittedly, the coco pops I used tend to have refined sugars in them, but not dairy & they now *finally* have a gluten free option. So I was 95% there.
It was delicious, quick and easy to make and it felt amazing to still be able to enjoy my snacks without feeling super bloated & tight in the tummy area.
Give it a try. Send a few suggestions that I can try and let's live our lives on our own terms and eat in an unrestricted way. I refuse to eliminate chocolate from my life.....🤪😁

Well smoothies hit different. Experimenting with different veggies and fruits has never been more simpler. Plus you nourish yourself in mad amounts.
- No cooking
- Prep time is less that 5 min
- The base can change or stay the same (Milk and Protein Powder of your choice or just milk or water)
- You feed not only your body but your soul
- Meal replacement in EMERGENCIES ONLY (meals for the win)
I don't count calories on this page - but for my calorie counting kings and queens. The calorie count Is minimal.
Home mades can vary from 160 to over 200 - Ingredient and size dependant (shop bought can go over 400 and u have no control over what is put inside it)

When you think of movement -we often think heavy duty workouts, fitness class after fitness class but....
It doesn't have to be that way.
What if it took 20 - 30 min, maybe your movement looks like
- Walking the dogs
- Swimming
- a Bike ride
- a dance class
- a tennis lesson
Maybe you do enjoy
- Boxing
- Crossfit
- Pilates or Yoga
The point is that when you move the way your body enjoys to move and you find a rhythm....not because social media told you to do it, not necauae everyone is doing it, or your doctor told you to or the number on the scale, or because your gym crush is doing it but because you truly enjoy feeling your body WORK instead of tons of aches and pains or tightness....once u find that inner feeling of pure enjoyment that's when true transformation begins....it has longevity in it.
When you don't like it, it won't last long.
I love dancing, I love boxing, I don't like crossfit or heavy lifting, I love restorative yoga and pilates. MY BODY most importantly responds better with these types of modalities. I have PCOS so any movement that forces me into a state of stress (raising cortisol levels) my body goes into flight or fight instead of working optimally in a safe way.
The past traumas I am undoing require me to slow down where I once would push so hard that i'd darn near kill myself. I had to learn this. I was in and still find myself in environments where heaviness, fast paced movements are seen as the "way to a perfect body" but you body has its own perfect. Find it.....no one, not a gym,not your parents or your friends can find this for you. It's your journey and process to follow
Save yourself, ain't no one coming to save you.
Only you know...start the journey, take that class and if it's sh!t....find a different state of movement until the body and mind align and its a f # yes energy you feel. Then....you will make a difference.
