Lightwind practise for Rashid today, a rider who astounds us with how much progress he has made after only learning to kite a few months ago! Well done Rashid, keep up the good work!

A great evening hosted by the Grand Hyatt Hotel to present to all the winners of the championship, and to crown the 2016 KiteFoil World Champion Maxime Nocher!

7 Races completed in one day! Huge congrats to all the winners, and a massive thank you to all the riders for pulling out maximum efforts to finish all races. We hope to welcome you all back to Qatar again in the future :)

Day 2 - KiteFoil Gold Cup Finals Qatar

The challenging light wind conditions didn't stop our visiting athletes from racing on day 1 of races! 6 knot actual wind speed with riders registering at 45km/h speed. Amazing talent!

Riders from around the world have arrived to register for the last stop in the Kitefoil Gold Cup! Let's hope the wind plays ball tomorrow for the races to start :)

42 riders representing 22 nations have arrived in sunny Doha! Come and witness the best Kitefoil riders from around the world battle to be crowned the KiteFoil World Champion of 2016. Schedule is as follows:
Tuesday 15th: 2pm-4.30pm Registration and practise
Wednesday 16th: 10am - 4.30pm Races
Thursday 17th: 10am - 4.30pm Races
Friday 18th: 12.30pm - 4.30pm Races
Saturday 19th: 10am- 4pm Finals!

Everyone is invited to watch this spectacular event on Qanat Quartier beach at The Pearl Qatar.

Get ready everybody! The best Kiteboard racers in the world will be hitting the shores of Qatar to compete at the KiteFoil World Finals! This exciting event will be free to spectators. Competition dates 15-19th November with a 10am-5pm race schedule. Venue site is Qanat Quartier beach, The Pearl Qatar. Come and enjoy the show!

A first time in Poland for members of the Qatar National Kiteboarding Team. 5 riders went to represent the country in the class of TT racing. All performed extremely well in the tricky conditions (big waves and cold water was a great challenge!) A special congrats to Fahad Al Malki for finishing 6th place overall out of the fleet of 30 in Jastarnia! A huge thanks to the organisers, the experience was invaluable and we look forward to attending next year (y)

No wind training for the Qatar National Team

The sun and the wind are back! It was a great weekend with the QNK team! 14 year-old Abdulla Salatt even managed his first water starts! Congratulations!!

We had a great time at the first Abu Dhabi Open Kiteboarding Championship! Congratulations to our team for their results!
