Integrating of air conditioning system with ventilation requirements in the underground car park.
FlowPak provided consultancy works for three levels of the underground car park at Souq Waqif (One of Doha’s most popular souqs).
An efficient ventilation system was designed to handle cooling and ventilation requirements (6ACH).
An accurate cooling load estimation was a challenge, as well.
FlowPak elaborates efficient sequence of operation to handle the fire scenarios.

The Seero Fi Al Ardh Carousel consists of a pavilion building housing a carousel and incorporating Art Work of the late Artist Mr Maqbool Al Hussain along with supporting facilities.
The Seero Fi Al Ardh Carousel” (Art carousel) is in the Al-Rayyan area, some 9km west of Doha City Centre, in the Education City Southern Zone.

Design & Validation of Smoke Control System for IKEA, Qatar (Smoke Reservoir) :
Smoke Control Systems are designed to control or restrict the movement of smoke within the building.
To do this, it is usually necessary to estimate the amount of smoke produced by a fire and the heat energy present. Then measures such as ventilation can be used to remove smoke to provide vertical control and barriers can be used to control horizontal smoke movement.

CFD Analysis for Cooling Tower - QATAR COOL PLANT 2 – WEST BAY
Cooling towers reject heat using evaporative cooling which is very much dependent on the moisture already present in the ambient air. The exit air from the cooling tower is nearly saturated hence lower density compared to ambient air. If some portion of this saturated air manages to enter the inlets of adjacent cooling towers, it indicates the occurrence of recirculation.
Recirculation decreases the cooling capability of the cooling tower and is very much dependent on the layout of the cooling towers, wind velocity and direction. Wind with high velocity tends to increase recirculation. Wind direction also plays a crucial role.
CFD simulation takes into consideration the Wind Velocity, wind direction, Spacing between the equipment, Height of the building and Architectural screens and fences to estimate the magnitude of recirculation.

Alhazm Mall, Doha - Qatar
Wind is one of the most important environmental factors that influence pedestrians' comfort and safety.
flowpak provide guidelines to architect with CFD Tools based on a combination of wind speeds and wind directions to assess and predict the pedestrian comfort and natural ventilation.
The corridors between the buildings' blocks in Alhazm Mall have been designed using BIM HVAC TOOL to provide optimum design between pedestrian comfort and natural ventilation.
BIM HVAC TOOL: CFD Software developed by TIAN Green Building Simulation (Germany).

Thermal Comfort Analysis, Carousel, Doha Qatar
Project performed in Qatar with BIM HVACTool.
The BIM HVACTool is a simulation tool for CFD, Energy Simulation and Daylighting.
The CFD results/predictions were confirmed during the testing and commissioning
