On May 4, 2025, we had the pleasure of connecting virtually with our amazing team at OMEKESANG USA for a very special cause.
The fundraiser was launched to help us raise funds for a wheelchair-accessible van an essential step toward ensuring greater mobility and independence for the individuals we serve.
A heartfelt thank you to OMEKESANG USA for taking the lead in coordinating and initiating this meaningful effort. Your commitment and dedication are truly appreciated, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued support.
Together, we’re breaking barriers and building a more inclusive future.

As we closed out Autism Awareness Month on April 30, 2025, our hearts were full of gratitude, unity, and hope during our Appreciation Dinner. This evening was more than a meal, it was a celebration of growth, advocacy, and the power of community.
We want to give special recognition to the amazing parents who participated in the Parents Supporting Group Workshop held on April 10, 2025. These incredible individuals came together to learn, to share, and to support one another. Today, they stand tall, not just as caregivers, but as advocates for persons with disabilities. Your transformation is inspiring, and your commitment gives strength to so many others walking a similar path.
Our deep thanks go out to the NCD Unit Office for their generous funding and partnership throughout the month. Because of your support, we were able to carry out meaningful activities that truly made a difference in raising awareness and building connections.
A heartfelt shoutout to the Red Cross team for capturing the powerful moments during our roadside campaign every Friday in April, your presence and your lenses helped tell our story beautifully.
Thank you to PPUC for hanging our street banner free of charge. Though the weather took its toll, the message stood tall long enough to spark awareness and be remembered by many. Rain or shine, the message of inclusion continues to shine in our hearts.
And to PNOC, thank you for letting us lit our ribbon light that was lit throughout the entire month. That glow was more than just a display, it was a symbol of hope, visibility, and unity for all those impacted by autism and other disabilities.
To every parent, partner, supporter, and friends, THANK YOU. Because of you, this month was filled with meaning and momentum. Let’s keep going. Let’s keep advocating. And let’s keep believing in the fierce power of community.
And to the one and only Lisa Remoket thank you for facilitating and serving as our Emcee at the Appreciation Dinner. Your poise, energy, and true spirit of advocacy lit up the room. I, Yaya Fierce, see you! Ke meral mesulang! Molemolm ra ungil urerem ak di oyeng rkaw !

A Huge THANK YOU!
To all our amazing partners, fierce mamas, and the wonderful children who came out for our final Roadside Campaign for Autism Awareness Month ! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!
Your love, energy, and presence lit up the roadside and helped us amplify a message that matters: Awareness. Acceptance. Inclusion.
You showed up, stood proud, and made noise and we felt every bit of it!
And to every car that passed by and honked in support we heard you loud and clear! Each honk was a heartbeat of unity, and it reminded us that this community is full of compassion and care.
Let’s carry this spirit forward, not just in April, but every single day.
Autism awareness isn’t a moment it’s a movement.

Join us one last time as we stand together to raise awareness, spread love, and show our support for individuals and families living with autism.

Let’s show the community what unity, awareness, and compassion look like. See you there!

Celebrating Community, Awareness, and Empowerment
Thank You to Our Parents and Presenters!
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for our recent Parent Supporting Group focused on autism awareness and digital safety. The support and participation from our community truly made this workshop a success.
A special thank you to Dr. Denyl Avinash, who gave an incredibly informative and compassionate presentation on autism. His insights helped many parents better understand the developmental journey of children with autism and how to create nurturing, supportive environments both at home and in the community.
We also deeply appreciate Cesca and Valerie from PPE for courageously sharing their personal experiences as a parent of a child with autism. Their honesty, strength, and vulnerability touched us all. Their journey served as a reminder that no one walks this path alone, and that connection and shared stories are powerful tools in building empathy and community. Thank you Palau Parents Empowered !
Another big thank you goes to Ms. Joleen Ngoriakl, who delivered a very relevant and eye-opening presentation on Digital Citizenship. Her talk gave parents important strategies and knowledge to help their children stay safe online especially vital in today’s digital age. From understanding online risks to promoting responsible internet use, Joleen equipped parents with tools they can use right away.
And finally, to all the parents who attended. Thank you for your time, your questions, your encouragement, and your presence. Your engagement shows your love and dedication to your children’s well-being, and we are so proud to walk this journey beside you.
Let’s continue building a community that supports every child—fiercely, intentionally, and together.

My son's name is Fuchi, and he will celebrate his 10th birthday this upcoming July. When he was merely three years old, Fuchi's healthcare providers identified him as having mild autism, ADHD, and a speech delay.
Over the course of his upbringing, Fuchi familiarized himself with different alphabets such as American, Russian, and Indian. He expressed his enthusiasm for various animals, with a particular fascination for dinosaurs. He asked if we are able to render illustrations of animals such as eagles, storks, falcons, squids, octopuses, and a wide array of other creatures. Presently, he engages in artistic endeavors.
Fuchi prefers to avoid populous areas where noise levels are excessively high. He would place his hands over his ears and declare, 'Let us go to the house.' There are certain days when he does not want to go to school, I guess he gets overwhelmed with schoolwork or too many loud noises.
Fuchi takes pleasure in watching his videos on YouTube. He enjoys swimming and creating artwork. Having welcomed a baby sister, he now shows significant overprotectiveness concerning her well-being.
All mothers, take heart; you are part of a supportive community as we navigate this together.

Meet Xyler Shark! He's definitely one of a kind. He's a one man team on everything he does and when he wants something he has to observe, touch, smell, and even taste it!
As Xyler grew into his toddler years. I noticed his speech delay. I wasn’t too worried due to having other family members with the same experience. We realized he solely used gestures to accomplish whatever he asked us to do as the years passed. We had to seek some expert advice and we were told he’s on the spectrum along with ADHD. Whew! I’ve only heard about autism but never had any experience. So it was news to us and we knew that we’re going to be in for a ride on this one. There’s never a dull day with this guy. Once he wakes up from his sleep for the day, it is running and singing at all times as loud as we can till we say good night. He got the nickname “bulldozer” from my uncles because he bulldozes his way through everyone and everything with no warning. But he’s very lovable and cuddly.
The most nerve-wracking time and will always be, is when we go out in public. To the store, to the park, to birthday parties or visiting family. If there’s swimming, we can go for sure. It’s the only way to keep him still. He’s calmer in the water. He’s baby shark! I feel bad to say that we don’t get around too often due to fear of breaking something or hurting other kids. But we try. Xyler loves everything and anything shark related hence the love of water, he loves being at the beach and rock islands. He loves to have his “odoim” cooked in “ilaot” and soy sauce. He loves to sing, it’s the only way we can communicate most of the time. We sing about everything we do.
Thank God for nursery rhymes about literally everything. Now at age 7, we’re still trying to accomplish a routine. Every day is different. Every day is a mystery. One and only lesson I’ve learned a lot of from all this is PATIENCE with him, Zakk (older brother), with myself and everyone around us.
I can go on forever on this. I’ve only mentioned things he loves because we have too many things we’re not comfortable with. I can only tell you that to this day after one incident that we had in the past, our greatest fear is the hospital. This is only a snippet of Xyler’s World. I love the stories in here, I feel so much at home and very emotional.
