🇵🇼🇹🇼Ngarchelong State Government recipient of 2024 The Republic of China-Palau Small Grants Program recently concluded this year’s grants program scheme
A KOT A RECHAD ER BELAU “Smisichii a mo ungil chad er a ureor el sebechel mo klou a kerkerngel- Strengthening our Palauan Workforce”

The grants scheme: to invest in the development, empowerment and advancement of our Palauan workforce was an advantage for the State to build workforce capacity for its youngest State employees😎🏋️‍♀️.
Recognizing the importance of self-development and how current employment situations can positively impact an individual’s confidence and productivity, the grant program was used to purchase new tools and equipment that will help employees improve and enhance their work experience in daily tasks and duties.
The Road and Ground Crew received new equipment such as bush cutters, blowers chainsaw, and shovels to improve job autonomy while maintaining community public spaces and places.
State Rangers also received funding for new radio equipment to improve efficiency while out monitoring protected sites- but also to ensure their safety with proper communication tools during response and rescue duties.
With assistance from the Bureau of Communication and Bureau of Marine Transport an informative training was conducted to familiarize Rangers on types of communication equipment, radio communication channels, distress procedures marine safety and protocols. As soon as all Rangers receive their boating operating license and have completed the registration of their new radio equipment, a follow up training is expected to further acquaint the Rangers on standard radio communication and distress communication procedures🚤🛥🆘.

Through grant opportunities like The Republic of China-Palau Small Grants Program with thematic schemes focused on A KOT A RECHAD ER BELAU Ngarchelong State continues to pursue efforts to strengthen identities and improve livelihoods where possible🙌🤝🫶🇹🇼🇵🇼.
