Peleliu Elementary School 6th-8th grade Educational Talent Search Program participants field trip today was amazing. The field trip consisted of three different types of learning.

1. Learning about Palau National Government, especially the three branches of the Government and how it functions and benefits the people of Palau. The student toured and learned about all the branches by visiting each branch and was greeted by the employees who were able to give the students the information they needed to learn.

2. The students learned about how a Traditional Bai of Palau is built and how it works by visiting Melekeok Bai and get to experience and see how it was made with the help of the Melekeok State Government tour guide.

3. The students continued on to Ngatpang Waterfall for the last part of their trip despite the bad weather. The students had the opportunity to feel waterfall water by descended to the waterfall's base, resting there while taking in the stunning and peaceful surroundings.

With that said, we the Palau Community College Educational Talent Search Program and the Peleliu Elementary School students, staffs, and parents would like to personally thank the following:
1. Office of the President, Republic of Palau and the Executive Branch employees
2. The Senate, Olbiil Era Kelulau and their employees
3. Palau National Congress House Of Delegates and their employees
4. Peleliu State Delegate Nace Soalablai and his staff
5. Palau Judiciary Branch and their employees
6. Melekeok State Government and their employees
7. Ngatpang State Government and their employees

We were able to have an enjoyable and educational field trip today thanks to all of your assistance.

On November 8,2022, employees from the Palau Community College Educational Talent Search Program visited Peleliu Elementary School to recruit students for the School Year 2022-2023. Students in grades 6 through 8 and their parents attended the recruiting session, where several parents expressed questions regarding the program. Following our presentation, in which we provided thorough information about our program and services, we assisted parents and students in filling out applications. It was a good day since many students applied to the program and became a member of our program, and they are now able to access all of the resources we have to offer.

On December 02,2022, students from George B. Harris Elementary School went to Milky Way to study about the Limestone mud and how it generated the milky and white hue ocean. Students had the opportunity dive down and retrieve some mud to feel the texture and smell the swampy mangrove smell. After visiting the Milky Way, they went by Ngchelobel for lunch, swam, and snorkeled to learn more about the ocean's marine life.
