Alii el rokui! Here is a story of what inspired my perspective on “Regenerating Oceania” with the collective idea of all these systems that plays a vital part of activating the “Oltobed a Malt” ideology to “nurture, regenerate & celebrate”

I’d like to share a famous palauan olachitnger used to ground us humbly( in the conservation arena) and to always remember that “ A Chutem a Delad ea Daob a demad” - to respect, love and care for the environment , we must do it in the sense that we respect, love and care for our mother and father. The core of strong Pacific Culture, our Way of life is rooted in our believe in God- the creator of the beautiful environment, but we are also shaped and carved with a good foundation of Love & Discipline- from our Mom & Dad. We are a reflection of our land and Sea/ - our mother & our father. These 2 pieces are showcased through the photographof a Mesei/ Lo’i & Daob/Moana of Angaur.
