How does our sunscreen compare to chemical sunscreens? (it doesn’t.) 😉

🔹Most commercial sunscreens are chemical-based and use active ingredients such as oxybenzone, homosalate, and avobenzone. These chemicals are absorbed into our bodies and convert the UV rays into heat. These are just a few of the harmful active ingredients that have been shown to act as endocrine disrupters in our bodies and contribute to coral bleaching and hormonal changes in fish.

🔸Our reef safe sunscreen is a mineral sunscreen. We use non nano zinc oxide as our active ingredient to physically protect your skin from both UVA and UVB rays while causing no harm to marine life. We also use in our packaging so we don’t contribute to the plastic pollution crisis.
