On April 30, Ambassador ORIKASA attended the Departure Ceremony of Alingano Maisu (a double-hulled canoe) hosted by Micronesian Voyaging Society at Drop Off Bar & Grill restaurant. The ceremony was attended by President Surangel Whipps Jr., Paramount Chief Reklai, Mr. Shallum Etpison, President of the society and many more.
Master Navigator Mr. Sesario Sewralur and his crew will undertake an arduous voyage across Western Micronesia and return in June, promoting and supporting traditional navigation. Bon voyage!!
