In my opinion, when we take a leap of faith, things (almost always) turn out better than expected!
I was so tired at the time of this session and, because of that, very insecure. I was excited to do it but I was afraid that tiredness would cloud my vision and creativity. I was ready to do it again if it went wrong.

But I surrendered to the moment and everything went beautifully. I managed to deliver what had in mind for her, and I think I even managed to show her the beauty of her romantic and giggly side that she wasn't so confident about.

I think everything goes better when we let go of expectations, because nothing is 100% controllable, and to think that it is is to imprison ourselves within these internal barriers that are expectations.

Note to my future self:
You should only worry about what you can control

Thank you dear Bruna for your trust 🤍

If someone had told me that one day I would look at these photos and adore them, I wouldn't have believed it. I was so nervous, but I went ahead because I felt the need to step out of my comfort zone, and I'm grateful that I did.

Since I started allowing myself to do things outside my "comfort" zone, I've realized that where I've been living wasn't comfortable at all. I wasn't truly myself; I was just a wounded and paralyzed version of who I really am.

Looking at this old version of myself and all the ones before, I can see my true self imprisoned beneath everything on the surface, occasionally emerging when the environment allowed it.

Don't get me wrong; somehow, this old version of me brought me to where I am today, and I'm grateful for her choices and actions. Only because she did her best to be kind to us, I exist in myself today.

I feel stronger and wiser—not because I "survived" bad things, but because I understand that my wounds are merely bad things that happened to me, and I can choose what to do with them.

Wiser not because years have passed and I'm older, but because today I respect myself and listen to my essence.

Before, I wanted to reap the fruits but forgot to plant. Today, I understand that, like everything in life, there are phases—sowing, nurturing, and harvesting.

Just because you've already harvested a good batch doesn't mean you don't need to sow more, or if you sowed a long time ago, it doesn't mean you have to harvest. Nothing is linear, and clinging to these rules didn't lead me anywhere. I've learned to embrace and feel all the emotions that come with each phase.

I like to voice my thoughts and be seen and heard, but not for approval; instead, I only want it if there's space for me. I don't need approval; I need respect. I say No with the confidence of who I am and say Yes with even more certainty about what I want in this moment.

I may sound like I have everything figured out, but I don't! And that is exactly what makes us grow every day. 🤍
